True enough. But Petards has such a pleasing sound, I'm going to use it anyways.

We don't do much "petard hoisting" in this day and age.

It works as well as anything I've heard. Besides, I would bet some wandering petard just might read it, and be really, really angry. They might even drop their tofu burger. Staring in slack jawed amazment that the complete moral clearity of their position isn't appreciated.

Of course there is always Petoman, a performer with musical farts. Since veggoes induce anal methane, PETOMANS would work.
