North Korea keeps doing its level best to be deserving of membership in the "Axis of Evil".
Let's see, unilaterally abandoning nuclear treaties.
Denying having nuclear weapons while at the same time threatening to unleash a "sea of fire"
Threatening to destroy the world if not allowed to do what it wants
Starving hundreds of thousands of its own people in forced labor camps
I keep waiting for the retraction from all of those people who made fun of Bush for his AoE comments. I guess the fact that the current North Korean regime really is evil doesn't make them want to reconsider their stance. Admitting that Bush was right would be more than these people could stand.

Posted by: puggs on January 16, 2003 07:22 PMActually, I think it's because they want to see how his current appeasement of NK plays out.
Bush appears weak-kneed on the subject, as opposed to Iraq, which his Dad already prepped for him. C'mon, he's giving them what they want.
Perteey soon, everyone will think they can blackmail the US with a nuke threat and get away with it.
As I said, pigs will fly first.
Posted by: puggs on January 17, 2003 06:56 AMWell, I've never said Bush's AoE statement was in error, only that I feel the Supreme Court appointing Bush to the presidency was in error.
